Web 3.0 Developer Summit + ETH Shanghai Hackathon

ChainIDE is pleased to be one of the sponsors for the ETH Shanghai. Mr. Wu Xiao, the CEO of WhiteMatrix and the founder of ChainIDE has been invited to the Web 3.0 Developer Summit for the CEO Fireside Chat session, which will be held through Zoom from 11:40–12:00 AM (UTC+8) on May 20th, and invited to ETH Shanghai Hackathon on May 24th, 10:30 AM (UTC+8)to instruct the attendees of ETH Shanghai on how to create a Web3 Dapp using ChainIDE.

About ETH Shanghai

The ETH Shanghai is the combination of the developer summit that will be held on 20th May and the hackathon that will start on 20th May and continue till 3rd June 2022. The ETH Shanghai Committee will hold the ETH Shanghai: Web 3.0 Developer Summit for a joint discussion on the impact of Web 3.0 on the future of the Internet. The developer summit will be held online on YouTube Live and WeChat Livestream.

Mr. Terry Branstad, former US ambassador to China, Mr. Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, and Ms. Tin Pei Ling, CEO of Business China, etc. Important guests will deliver keynote speeches in the main forum section around the theme of the summit. In addition, nearly 10 industry representatives will also conduct high-end dialogues in the roundtable discussion session of the summit, express professional opinions, and exchange views on key topics such as the future development prospects of the network world. The application and development of centralized networks, the new paradigm and possibility of international cooperation in the era of epidemics, and the construction and application of future network infrastructure and its philosophical concepts.

ETH Shanghai hackathon mainly aims to open developers’ imaginations to define what Web3 social could be and conduct activities on social issues such as Internet security and carbon neutrality goals and create an ownership structure aligned with business interests. Not limited by the travel restrictions under the epidemic, the competition will be held online to link developers at home and abroad, and promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation for the future of the common Internet, cross-border, cross-platform, and cross-language at a time when technology has no borders.
